148mm Home Knife - a new classic all-rounder.

I wanted to create a more elegant alternative to the traditional Santoku, so have been making these chef knife inspired knives with a blade around 140mm to 160mm for a while now. Less daunting than a full size chef knife but with that classic profile, and with more blade height at the heel than a Petit, for easy use on the board. Nimble and comfortable in the hand. I call it the 'Home Knife'.

Stainless clad Aogami Super - a very high carbon steel, at 1.45%, with excellent edge retention.

Handle in 5000 year old Fenland bog oak - 120mm
